I have seven years of experience working with attorneys and refugee rights organizations assisting asylum seekers from Cameroon as well as other countries in West and Central Africa who are currently living in the United States, Europe, and Africa.
Sexual Minorities
I have special expertise on the history of the struggle for rights and respect for practitioners of “non-normative” sexual and reproductive behaviors or marital statuses from Africa, including but not limited to LGBT individuals, widows, interfaith couples, adoptive parents, victims of sexual abuse, victims of sex trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation, and others.
